OUR CHURCH

Over 10 years ago, God planted a vision inside of Rev. Timothy J. Powers, Sr.,  and after various test and trials, he stepped out on faith to obey God and his vision has now come to fruition!  Five people joined together and the first official meeting of Christian Bible Fellowship Church of Rosenberg was held on April 11, 2014.

Officers were elected, documents were signed and the mission and vision statements were developed! The first official service was held on May 18, 2014, at Falcon Pointe Apartment Clubhouse with 7 adults & 5 children joining the ministry on that day.  Worship service was moved to 5190 Avenue H in Rosenberg, TX at the Jackson Hewitt Tax Services on August 24, 2014, and was held there until we moved into our current 2600 square foot facility at 4203 Ave. H, Ste. 17 in Rosenberg.

As with many ministries, we have seen many changes and have overcome many challenges. As of May 2016, CBFC has become a "Total Teaching Ministry."  With a renewed Vision and Mission, we are committed to teaching the "T.R.U.T.H." of God's Word to Edify, Empower, Enlighten and Encourage you!  Our motto is to be R.E.A.L. - Relevant, Edifying, Accountable and Loving in everything we do!

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe in one God who is eternal in His existence.

(Eph. 4:6)

We believe in the Holy Trinity of God being Father, Son and Holy Ghost

and that He (God) is Sovereign and Absolute in His authority.

(Matt. 28:19)

We believe in the Father who is God Himself, Creator of the universe.

 (Gen 1:1; John 1:1)

We believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

(Col 2:9)

We believe in the Holy Spirit who is God indwelling, empowering and regenerating the believer. This Holy Spirit is called the Comforter. The Spirit of Truth.

(John 14:17, 14:26)

We believe that Jesus Christ suffered, died, was buried, and

rose from the dead for our total salvation.

(Luke 3:21-22; Philippians 2:5-11)

We believe that Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No one comes to the Father except through Him.

(John 3:36; John 3:31-32; John 14:6)

We believe that it pleased the Lord, at sundry times, and in divers manners, to reveal Himself, and to declare His will unto His Church; and afterwards, for the better preserving and propagating of the truth; Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.

(Hebrews 1:1-2)
